in this collaboration I continued using the footage from ‘Flat Arty’ which I exhausted and refracted an image of London Bridge station. In the process of doing this, the footage of the projection was recorded and then the recording was then projected. I recorded the projection of this and projected it again, and repeated the process 10 times. I have also refracted the image with mirrors to the projector would multiply within one space, whilst the spectator could also see themselves within the work simultaneously.
In this collaboration I projected this footage on one projector, and Nicholas Canal’s projection of refraction of a guitar on the other projector. I then used two mirrors I used in the installation at ‘Flat Arty’ to refract and distort the image onto the wall. This became both an extension between breaking the barriers and exterior of a projection, as well as a dual performance. The sound was created by Billie Daniel within this recording of this collaboration.
