In this performance, I have recorded myself becoming a facilitator in initiating linguistic communication between objects. The laptop is the interpreter, I am the facilitator and performer, and the text is the written 'language’ between these doors. Each sound made has been documented by the laptop, and converted into a musical note.

Based on Jasbir Puar’s book ‘The Right to Main: Debility, Capacity and Disability’ I interpreted the extract discussing the definitions between linguistics and language to this: language is communication between people via words and any other forms of communication i.e. between animals, is linguistic communication. With this logic, and very very slim understanding concerning Platonism within metaphysics, I wanted to see what it would be like to create linguistic communication between objects.
